Field Day 2006

I spent my field day 2006 at São Gotardo hotel, situated in Itaipava National Park Mountains circa 5.250 feet above sea level.

The FT817 is powered by a Duracell DR-36 lap top battery (12 volts X 4 amps).

The weather was windy and cold and was very difficult to access the FT817 controls using leather gloves.

The night was coming and the winds getting stronger and I decided return the equipment to the pack and open a good wine bottle beside the fire in my wife’s company.
